Over the years, I have eaten at so many great restaurants. Some of them stand out to me because of their soft lighting, cozy space and rich dishes. I will gladly share with you some of my favorite romantic-vibed restaurants in our darling City of Angels.
If you've been, you agree with me. Incredible Italian foundations with a modern new twist is the best way I can describe their fare. Fettuccine Dungeness Crab anyone? Also, there are some incredible Champagne options, by the glass, if you just want a taste!
A.O.C., West Hollywood
I've celebrated my birthday here, so obviously I think highly of this wine-bar-meets-restaurant. The atmosphere relaxes me because I know I will be enjoying amazing cheese plates and wine for days! You can too...go!
If you are partial to incredible rooftop views, you will fall in love with Perch. After dining on luxurious french cuisine, take a trip outside with a glass of wine or a French 75 (my favorite) and take in the night-lights of Los Angeles. This is definitely more of a romantic date environment than a night out with a buddy ;)
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in LA. The decor whispers elegant farmhouse wether you are seated in the outside courtyard, the middle of the house, or the far back. The dishes are locally sourced and literally farm-fresh. Wonderful wine lists and cocktails should be taken advantage of. Oh, and catch the view from the back windows. Need I say more?
L&E Oyster Bar, Silverlake
This cozy oyster bar, will always hold a special place in my heart. It is where I ate my first raw oyster! A slurp I will always remember, washed down with a fine bottle of Cotes de Jura. I hear they have now opened their upstairs raw bar! We all know what "magic" power oysters have, so why wouldn't you want to eat them while you're celebrating love?
Dim lighting and a lasagna that will keep you warm and satisfied for hours is all I really need to say about Pace. This restaurant has an old-world, classic feel...as if diners have been visiting for hundreds of years. I've only been for birthday parties, but can imagine a dinner for two would be especially wonderful.
I know that Valentine's Day is approaching quickly, so if for any reason these suggestions are already booked up, just go on another day! They are well worth the visit!
